BIM360 makes collaborating between firms much easier.
What do you like best? Rather than a once a week information share between firms you have a live look at each others progress. What do you dislike? Publishing a model to BIM360 and saving to your model are two different things. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Collaboration between firms and communication with BIM360 for clash detection is instant.

Has benefits but don't work on models live.
What do you like best? The ease of sharing models with the other disciplines. What do you dislike? Working live with an Architect who refuses to coordinate. Recommendations to others considering the product: BIM360 has its benefits but don't work on models live with others. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are working in BIM360 at the request of the Architect. We did not have a problem with the old system.

its getting better
What do you like best? Multi file format sharing capabilities, full collaboration environment, user permission restrictions, availability of documents, unlimited cloud space. What do you dislike? cant add default members to template project, cant add groups/teams to generate members is done one-by-one, would like to structure my 'Account Admin' portal with sub directories, slow to upload multiple files, more right click options from Desktop Connector, cant directly drag and drop ...

BIM360 for Design Architects
What do you like best? The ability to see live changes in each consultants model is very helpful. The ability of collaboration in the same model between the Design Architect and the Architect of Record. What do you dislike? I'm not a fan of how Autodesk has designed the RFI and submitals portions of BIM360. They are making the assumption that project email will go away which I do not think will happen for many years. Recommendations to others considering the product: Start slow ...

Great potential as a unified BIM platform.
What do you like best? Since the majority of design models and drawings are created with Autodesk software, the ability to seamlessly manage them in BIM 360 is outstanding. The ability to share and view Revit models through a cloud platform has proved to be very valuable when meeting with various project teams. What do you dislike? Since this is an evolving product, hiccups are to be expected. However, Autodesk has done a fairly poor job in optimizing their platform. In Model ...

Good, once you get past the initial set up
What do you like best? Access to files and ease of use. It is beneficial to be able to download files after completed on the cloud as well. What do you dislike? The initial setup. I was on a trial version and when I purchased the service I lost all files I was working on for several days until my account was fully operational. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Workflows outside of the conventional work server. Also, the ...

Convenient way to coordinate, exchange information and submit project issues
What do you like best? To me, one of the best features is the ability to submit issues and create a line of communication between the required parties. Any time I find a problem in the model, whether it is a clash between disciplines or a model that has not been updated, I can create an issue, assign it to the responsible individual and even set a time frame when the issue needs to be resolved. This not only saves time but it also helps provide a faster response time and accountability. ...

Good Product, Needs Work
What do you like best? BIM 360 has a clean/modern interface and has excellent tools for marking up drawings. What do you dislike? A) The issue tracking tools could use some work: we want better control over how issues are assigned and how the team is notified when it is time to address all the comments. 1) allow the PM to turn off email notifications when someone assigns an issue to another person. Too many emails at the wrong time creates more confusion during formal reviews (the ...
