Great Coordination Tool

What do you like best? Autodesm BIM 360 is a great coordination tool for those working on the same project in different locations. Chat makes it easy to communicate, and being able to monitor what your coworkers do aids in project management. What do you dislike? My only complaint is the cost and the small learning curve to the product. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Remote offices working on the same project has gotten easier. ...

3-D viewing

What do you like best? To my knowledge, the BIM 360 feature is the cloud based model (not just a REVIT model that updates real time as individual users make changes to and update their model or linked models. I haven’t used this often, but I have reloaded changes and viewed how users can download this feature on computers, tablets and phones to see the changes and mark what may need to change in the future. What do you dislike? Since I mostly use Revit, CAD and C4R, it’s sometimes ...

BIM 360 Makes Coordination a DREAM

What do you like best? The ability for our team to publish a project on the cloud which allows other consultants to have the most up to date model all the time. What do you dislike? Sometimes there are issues with connectivity and may be down for some time. Recommendations to others considering the product I would hope that you consider this program because it will streamline your process of design and collaboration. Great program but needs more featuers

What do you like best? This application is quick and easy to use, and is very versatile. It can be adjusted to serve multiple needs. What do you dislike? Viewing a model doesn't have as many features as Navisworks. BIM 360 field checklists cannot be made to adjust based on answers, would like to see the ability to do more detailed manpower reporting/timesheets. Recommendations to others considering the product Great to use for punch lists and tracking issues. There are a lot of things ...

BIM 360 Digitally Enhances Job-Site Efficiency & Workflow

What do you like best? Most importantly, the ability to easily store and navigate through project drawings. In addition, you have the confidence that the cross-functional team is working of the same drawings and notations you are. What do you dislike? For the installation team that uses the software, all their tasks shows as though they're either complete or incomplete - nothing to the effect of in-progress. Nor does it segment quality control checks which are accomplished post-install. ...

BIM 360 brings a project design toegether

What do you like best? It's very convenient being able to tie together many pieces of information in our design model. We can add information and documentation to individual components within our models which makes future access very convenient. What do you dislike? In some cases entering information can be a little cumbersome. In most cases this is primarily due to the size of the particular models we use. Recommendations to others considering the product When choosing this product or ...

BIM360 Review

What do you like best? It is easy to track issues, items, documents, safety, and quality. You can use it on an iPad while walking around a project site. It allows me to have the documents I need anywhere I need them. It is also very helpful in keeping up with safety and quality issues while they happen. What do you dislike? Some things you can only add online and not on an iPad. This makes it hard when you are in the field and have to wait until you get back to your computer. What ...

BIM360 for Quality Control

What do you like best? The ability to track nearly 1,000s of items in order to ensure a great product is constructed for the client. Many times the number of quality issues can get out of control, but BIM360 makes it very easy to maintain and execute repairs/fixes. What do you dislike? The only part that I dislike is that there is not an application for phone use. Recommendations to others considering the product Please develop an app for phone use. What business problems are you ...
