Good, but challenging. Always have to stay on top of the developments.

What do you like best? The best part is how it works with Revit models, how it deprecates the sheets out of the model. This makes it easier for our subs and site Superintenates to relate it to a drawing set they’d print off. What do you dislike? The cost, as we invite more subs to be apart of BIM Docs the more it will cost us. It makes it more challenging to show how it’s value can offset its cost. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Great for field work to office coordination

What do you like best? The amount of detail that can be created from point cloud scans for modeling. We got a very accurate layout of all the piping, ductwork, electrical, and mechanical equipment for a very tight space, letting us know what we could do with significantly less field work to coordinate everything. What do you dislike? The models created are made of individual pieces. Nothing connects to each other in the model, making it difficult to make adjustments for new work projects. ...

Not exactly user friendly

What do you like best? I like that you can collaborate and stay up to date on everyone's model. What do you dislike? Not exactly the easiest to navigate through seeing clashes. When uploading files, it also freezes up. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Having updated models from all trades.

Useful for a Section of my Work

What do you like best? I really like how easy it is to customize my punch lists and print out reports. What do you dislike? I dislike how I can’t just use this for the rest of my work. It’s not a one stop shop type of deal. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It helps me with Closeout. I’m able to print out unfinished work for trade contractors.

Almost Got it

What do you like best? Portability, having almost all contractors on the job using the Bim we are all on the same page, and that in its self limits the excuses. its all in one place, Drawings, punch list, specs, job photos. What do you dislike? the biggest complaint is that BIM doesn't have a most recent tab. when you are looking at a document with 300 pages then you close that to look at a different document and need to go back you have to sort through 300 pages again, its time ...
