Work Inspection Request

What do you like best? I like that it accessible from any internet available device and allows me to access files and models wherever I am. I can work on BIM 360 models and share info with consultants outside of our office without dealing with ITP, ICL and FTP Checklists uploads and downloads. What do you dislike? The name keeps changing and so does what the tool does. This is a combination of many tools for the Construction Recommendations to others considering the product Cost savings ...

User friendly and easy to access different functions.

What do you like best? I like the layout and how easy it is to complete tasks. Everything is easily accessible. BIM Field - Easy to use, the daily dairy function has been popular on site. BIM Glue - Navigation around the model is relatively easy - probably easier on the iPad version. What do you dislike? Although BIM Field does a good job of providing the basic tools to increase communication, certain aspects are limited such as notifications between internal users, duplication ...

Glue is awesome. Field...not so much

What do you like best? The ability to pull measurements in the field, house vital documents in one program and ease of navigation What do you dislike? Field app is sluggish and has many glitches. Not the best document control system What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Avoiding rework in the field, pre-planning with multiple crafts/vendors

Great for keeping track of project quality and snags

What do you like best? easy to recall checklists, issues (snags clean up notices etc. and using barcodes for relating those issues and checklists to a specific area keeps everything a lot more relevant. We have over 7000 rooms on our project and using the QR codes has let us relate issues very accurately so that anyone can follow up on issues. Being able to compartmentalise the information by using the user profiles is also very useful as it means our subcontractors can focus on their own ...

Good Software, just a few tweaks needed

What do you like best? The site diary area, I like that we can capture what is happening on site and include pictures. What do you dislike? That you can add to the diaries retrospectively without an audit trail or different font etc. Recommendations to others considering the product they need to consider what aspects of BIM they want to use when they do the intial set up, are they going to use the equipment areas for the QR codes, do they want to use the full library for documents ...

An all-in-one solution going through growing pains.

What do you like best? I save time every week with the automatic updating and version history provided by BIM 360 Glue. Bim 360 Document Management and Field will be best once they share the same document database instead of two separate ones. What do you dislike? The access to documents is great but lacks features of competitors and has had growing pains in recent years as they work towards a single database for your information. Administration is complicated along with licensing between ...

BIM 360 Glue: Extra clicks and future enhancements

What do you like best? having a cloud-site for merged models. keeps everything current as single source of correct info. glue email notifications are nice but hard to extract the metadeta. x ref support. What do you dislike? too many clicks and embedded features. most enhancements shown at AU never made it into glue yet. Model archiving is a bit cumbersome. Recommendations to others considering the product accessing the models on the ipad is a nice feature but seems to max out around ...

Autodesk A360

What do you like best? Easy file sharing. One place to go to have all the project information. This also contributes to more consistently up-to-date models from all members of the construction team. Having the current version of the model leads to fewer questions and better coordination. Also very good for collaborating with our remote users to complete a project. What do you dislike? I have had problems navigating on the platform. It seems sluggish at times and will tend to collapse the ...
