BIM 360 - from a Non-Revit user perception

What do you like best? I like the way it evolved and helping us collaborate on Revit & Navisworks platform. What do you dislike? Civil 3D is completely forgotten, can't collaborate the way Revit is able to. Recommendations to others considering the product Include Civil 3D, Plant 3D as the same as Revit operability. Only then BIM 360 can claim a true CDE for BIM What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Collaborate with Design teams across ...

Helpful with Project Quality Completion

What do you like best? The best feature of BIM 360 is the aspect of keeping all trades/personel involved with issues/items. What do you dislike? I wish that the notifications were more specific. For example, our project has multiple trades that cover the same scope of work. Instead of notifications that just state "30 items have changed", I would love if it could provide a more clear breakdown structure. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Great for transparency & collaboration

What do you like best? BIM360 allows greater transparency in the design; sort of forces people to work together; and allows all involved to get a full overview of the project. The ability to create workflows to resolve issues is great. What do you dislike? The notifications system can do with some work. It would be great if a daily digest can be done instead of individual emails. The option to have different importance levels on notifications would also be great. Say some in individual ...

In development to become the best CDE

What do you like best? I like best the concept of a single point of truth of all the information and to have a good process in place for checking, review and approve the information. Being able to segregate the information from the Work in Progress, to Shared and then to Published in compliance with the PAS-1192 is a great ability that will benefit our processes and quality procedures. What do you dislike? I dislike that is not working with Xrefs for AutoCAD, Civil, Navisworks or any ...

without a doubt BIM 360 is an incredible tool

What do you like best? his program is easy to learn without any training. The tool is ideal for large projects. I like that it gives you an unlimited storage database. What do you dislike? Easy to use and inexpensive

What do you like best? My favorite feature is the model viewer. It keeps the property information when coming from revit. What do you dislike? I dislike the inability to export a hyperlinked set. It seems alternative products offer this and it is typically the deliverable. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Document management with the docs module. Please note you cant take mobile screenshots due to security policy so I took one ...

Not the best, but not the worst

What do you like best? File storage, admin features, version control What do you dislike? Clunky UX, lengthy wait time on uploading Recommendations to others considering the product Explore using Dropbox, Box, or Google Drive for sharing files among project teams, and use Navisworks directly. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use BIM 360 for model coordination among teams of trade contractors. There are a handful of qwerks in ...
