Asana pros and cons
Simple interface supports easy adoption for personal and professional use.
Task and project management includes timelines, recurring tasks, subtasks, and milestones for structured workflows.
Team collaboration features include comments, file attachments, and real-time updates.
Customizable workflows, task prioritization, and board/list views accommodate varying user needs.
Steep learning curve for new users due to the richness of features and complex implementation for larger organizations.
Advanced features (e.g., custom fields, timeline views, and detailed reporting) are locked behind premium pricing, making it expensive for smaller organizations.

"Asana Rocks!"
What do you like best about Asana? I love Asana for keeping track of my work and ensuring projects are on-track. It's so helpful to have an interactive, collaborative "to-do list" so my mind can focus on the work it needs to and not on "Who's doing what?" "What info do I still need to share?" "Did I send this for approval?!" What do you dislike about Asana? Honestly, I love almost everything about Asana. One of my big wishes would be the ability to rename the default fields. Example: change ...

"Project management software with just the right amount of gamification!"
What do you like best about Asana? The interface is beautiful and the gamified tweaks, like celebrations after completing tasks, make Asana fun to use. A fun user experience is the single most important factor in long-term use, in my opinion. I also love that Asana constantly solicits user feedback via platforms like the Asana Forum. What do you dislike about Asana? Some of the integrations for essential functions need work. For example, integrations to Google Calendar are one-way, and ...

"The Task Management App that strikes functionality & simplicity"
What do you like best about Asana? I love Asana because it's easy to use. Such a relieve to onboard new users in my team to use the app. Beside that, we have been using it since 2018 and haven't noticed any slow down in loading all the tasks! What do you dislike about Asana? The free features keep decreasing. I understand this from the business point of view, but some features should have been in the free tier instead of paid one. Also, the subscription is a bit steep if you're not doing ...

"Vital to our non-profit"
What do you like best about Asana? I like the transparency and flexibility in organizing work streams and collaborations. What do you dislike about Asana? I find the reporting features, including exporting, to be lacking. I would also like the ability to sort by "Start Date" in List view. What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you? It's transforming the way teams think about group collaboration and the documentation of tasks (and level of task granularity).

"p['[p'["
What do you like best about Asana? That you can create multiple boards in one project and then also zaps to send tasks to the right board depending on multiple outcomes. What do you dislike about Asana? I'm not sure yet, I learn more and more about what I can do each day. What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you? ][ ]

"Versatile, innovative, and high learning curve"
What do you like best about Asana? The versatility of functions and how the Asana team is constantly improving and incorporating the community's feedback. What do you dislike about Asana? There is no schedule comment feature available and the lists are slower to load when there are a lot of tasks. What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you? Making things more efficient by implementing changes slowly. It helps to make our project process move faster.

"Love Asana!"
What do you like best about Asana? I love the set it and forget it nature of Asana. Put something in for a year from now, log in on that day, and there it is right on your home dashboard. I also love, love, love what you can do with custom fields and how that impacts your reporting. What do you dislike about Asana? We are Premium users, so I think what I dislike is that I don't have access to workloads, portfolios, goals, and more automated workflow rules (still working on persuading our ...

"Asana is the glue that holds all of our projects together"
What do you like best about Asana? The automations and integrations - and the fact that there is continuous progress on feature releases and updates! What do you dislike about Asana? It seems like whenever a feature is released, there is a partial or major platform outage. What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you? Asana is robust enough to make it easy for all teams to adopt its usage. As a result, we are able to keep all of our projects in one place which makes ...

"Great Project Management/Task Manager for Teams"
What do you like best about Asana? Subtask management is very helpful. Allowing multiple people to be assigned to the same task using subtasks without duplicating the parent task. Being able to audit number of tasks per team member is great too. What do you dislike about Asana? The boards can get a little wide and lots of scroll time. When they get too big we have to create a new board. It would be nice to have some features to manage the size of boards. What problems is Asana solving and ...
