"Managing Rent Payments"

What do you like best? The most useful aspect of using the system is being able to keep track of past payments. Traditionally we used to use my banks automatic bill pay system which was easy to use but difficult to get a easy to read listing of all my past payments. Moreover, the payments also provide commentary as to whether myself or my roommate was the one to pay each bill. It is also great to be able to submit maintenance requests through the portal.

Terrible customer support representative

As an existing client, I am extremely disappointed with AppFolio's customer service representative who constantly missed appointments he had scheduled with his customer without prior notice and no explanation afterwards. I have been counting on him to complete several time sensitive tasks yet my business is hurting due to his lack of accountability. I would be very interested to know what kind of customer service standard AppFolio maintains with their staff and how they deal with such poor ...

Frustrating experience from an owner

I have had a property management company handling my rental home out of state for almost 2 years. I was getting the monthly emails with a link to the Owner's Portal to view my online statements every month until last October 2016. I realized in December that I hadn't received an email for 2 months, so I tried to log in with the same user name and password I've been using all along, and kept getting locked out because my password wasn't right. Switching to AppFolio

I think this company has an awesome system in place, The only problem that I have had is, you can never get a hold of real person and no-one ever answers their phones when you call them directly. I'm in the process of switching over right now, and I'm not really happy or excited anymore.

Why should you decide?

Good stuff, good reliability, great organization. But why do you decide which are the column headings for my reports? Would you not think that maybe I can decide which columns I need and that maybe they could be different from the ones that you offer? In some reports I need to see who the site manager is. You might not think that there is a need for this and thus you do not include it, thus I cannot include it. Some other report I might need to have the end of lease date, but since you do ...
