Personally I really love the software platform. We searched for a long time to find a software that best fit our needs. AppFolio has been that solution. My only complaint is that after we exceeded our first 90 days, the customer service in regards to support tickets went downhill. I have submitted two work orders in regards to a technical issue that I could not find a help article on. Neither work order has been truly responded to. I submitted the first one a week ago. I'm a landlord with three rental properties, but also rent an apartment from a company that uses AppFolio's property manager services. For over a year Appfolio routinely billed me each month for the rent and in every instance I promptly authorized a debit to my checking account. Then in May I got no AppFolio notice and forgot to the pay the rent. The landlord then sent a late payment and late fee notice. I tried to contact Appfolio to find out what went wrong, but discovered it's impossible ...

What do you like best about AppFolio Property Manager? ease of use and integration of everything that property management has to deal with in one software. the previously software we used we had to manually input from one accounting section to another. It's great to not have to do that and have everything integrated. clicking on items showing where the numbers came from is also great ie - Income Statement - there's an expense for $1000, my supervisor can go in and click and click and see ...

AppFolio is the best property management software my company has ever used. It is user friendly, and the support from the company's staff is exceptional! It has substantially decreased the amount of time spent on rent collection and disbursements, maintenance follow-up, and has allowed us to grow without having to add additional staff.

"Managing Rent Payments"

What do you like best about AppFolio Property Manager? The most useful aspect of using the system is being able to keep track of past payments. Traditionally we used to use my banks automatic bill pay system which was easy to use but difficult to get a easy to read listing of all my past payments. Moreover, the payments also provide commentary as to whether myself or my roommate was the one to pay each bill. It is also great to be able to submit maintenance requests through the portal.
