Spotsaas Editor’s POV

AOMEI Backupper's free tier covers system imaging, file recovery, and drive cloning—verify in a demo whether the free version includes scheduling, as this is a paid-only feature. The software performs well on SSDs but can slow significantly on older mechanical drives during large backups; test with your actual hardware before committing. Check integration ...Read more

The best backup system in the world!

I have always looked for an application on the PC that would allow me to quickly and easily perform an automatic daily backup, I have experienced many over the years but AOEMI Backupper has surpassed them all! Non-invasive for the system, very easy to use and with an infinite number of backup possibilities, from the simple folder to the entire physical copy of the disk.

I went by reviews

I went by reviews, big mistake. I backed up twice a year for two years. When I actually needed the backup the image filed saved wasuseless. I took my computer to a reputable shop I have used for 10 years Newton, MA and they could not recover any of the files. The image was on the hard drive, but the files were useless. I took 24 hours to get a response from tech support and they were asking questions that I already provided information in. Another 48 hours and more useless questions in an ...

I recommend AOMEI Backupper

I have been using AOMEI Backupper for several years and am now running version 6.1. It has taken me awhile to get comfortable with using some of its features but the customer support is excellent.

I'm a fan but there are issues with later versions

I have been using AOMEI as my back up software for many years, I would be giving the software 5 stars if not for the fact I recently upgraded to the pro version and ran into some problems. The software, however still deserves 4 stars and the problems pertain to later versions. The interface is very intuitive, one of the reasons I switched to it, was because Acronis True Image made some interface changes that just made their software a nightmare to use. AOMEI still remains the most straight ...

So far I have been very happy with the software. It does what I expect it to do. It would be great if two way sync were possible.

I want to use the software but there is a problem, that hasnt been solved since years. Creating a bootable usb drive is impossible, I tryed alot of things to make it work. Was on the page for support. Someone told me my system must be FAT32 for making a bootable drive. Thats an old system, why arent they implementing NTFS? I use windows 10 the pc is up to date and works perfect. EaseUS can create a bootable USB Drive with no problems. But I stopped using that backup software because it ...

I've tried other backup and restore…

I've tried other backup and restore software, including Macrium, and Aomei is the only one that's consistently worked. It employs "hot backup" meaning it performs the back up while the OS (Windows) is running. There's no need to exit the OS then boot into the backup software, making it easy for the average user. This company has been around a while meaning the software is mature, they have an extensive website with helpful tips and their customer support is responsive. Recommended.
