Very good. Fast and reliable.

What do you like best? Very easy to create new plots, very quick to get results. What do you dislike? When you want to do more complicated things sometimes it's impossible, like defining an event as which is a funnel conversion of other events. Recommendations to others considering the product: It's very easy to use and fast, and usually has everything you need if you define your events well. It is pricey though. If they go more towards the direction of automate ML it will be ...

Powerful Tool that Takes Some Practice!

What do you like best? I love being able to see funnel analyses and drop off points – I focus mainly on a signup process, so this is extremely helpful for me to identify failing points. What do you dislike? I care a lot about acquisition and behavior based on utms / sources – This data seems to "shift" a lot, and it becomes difficult to accurately group people / attribute based on their referral source. Recommendations to others considering the product: Their free version is ...

One of the best out there for product analytics

What do you like best? Ease of use in setting up specific types of charts, sharing with teammates, digging deeper into data, custom events, exports, custom user attributes. What do you dislike? Some IA and navigation don't quite make sense (e.g. saved dashboards vs pinned dashboards, spaces). Restructuring data if you don't like the way you originally set it up is a bit of a pain, but I suspect this is the case with any vendor. For example, we had to redo work to unify our iOS and ...

So much better than the competition!

What do you like best? Amplitude makes product analytics so much easier than Mixpanel does. Accidentally start a report in Event Segmentation but actually meant to create a Funnel Analysis report? You can switch and your query CARRIES OVER 🤯. You get so much more for free, which is great for start-ups that don't have budget yet (like where I work). It is also so much easier to learn because the selectors are all the same. I really can't say enough about using Amplitude over its ...

First analytic dashboard for me.

What do you like best? Very easy to use. I love the different views you have to read the data. The user "look-up" function is very useful for me. The standard user journey from product discovery to purchase is very complicated and it's more attractive to see it with amplitude. I very often use the funnel function too. I think it's the best functionnality of the tool. What do you dislike? Sometime it could be complicated to mix user property and event property... I also I have a little ...

Robust analytics for all size product teams

What do you like best? Variety of charts and functions available for free and paid tiers. Available filters and multi event charting is easy to use. What do you dislike? Documentation is narrow. Videos are help documentation with text to speech. It would be useful to have my interactive exercises to master new chart types. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Learning how my product is used (or not) Analyzing behaviors and ...

Solid starter tool for BI & analytics needs

What do you like best? The thing I like best about Amplitude is the ability to create funnel analyses and filter the data at each step in the funnel. What do you dislike? The biggest drawbacks to Amplitude is that there is some learning curve to understanding what each type of analysis can and cannot do. Secondarily, I wish I could pull in other data sources beyond purely tracked events, but that requires more powerful BI tools. What problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Amplitude has been a great place for us to consolidate and analyze our product data

What do you like best? I like that I can quickly create charts, cohorts of users, and dashboards. What do you dislike? There is a slightly steep learning curve What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Amplitude has helped us understand our user's activation and engagement better. We have been able dive deeper into what is driving dropoff and what helps retain users.

Amplitude has become a staple in every project I can use it now

What do you like best? The flexibility to measure literally anything, and how the platform simply extracts and organizes a lot of information by itself. Also, everything is fast and the UX is intuitive. I never need to look for more than 1 or 2 minutes to find out exactly what I was looking for. The docs are also top notch. What do you dislike? The pricing is mysterious, hard to disclose, and their support can sometimes be very simplistic: I've already tried their simple suggestions ...
