What do you like best? NCR offers a wide range of cloud based solutions that makes Aloha usage seamless. What do you dislike? The native Aloha export is hard to work with. What do you like best? The Aloha POS system is easy for Staff to learn and access. Employee turnover in our industry can be high, and having a reliable and easy-to-use system is key to our business. What do you dislike? Our system requires a customer PIN to be entered (approximately one in every 40 transactions), which is difficult because we have to ask the customer to leave their table and walk to the POS station during their dining experience. What do you like best? Reliability of the terminals and the great support that we receive. What do you dislike? Occassional receipt printing glitch that causes the receipts to print to the right of center. The terminal needs to be rebooted to resolve this. What problems are you solving with the product? What do you like best? Software that is designed for our business with everything we need. Anything we can think of that we would want is available in the software. What do you like best? It can pretty much do anything, it just might need some expensive addons to get it done. Since this is a legacy system, pretty much all 3rd party software providers have integrations with aloha. What do you dislike? Expensive. Does not have a virtual POS to use in the office; manager must go out to the floor and complete transactions from a terminal.
