Brand Designer

What do you like best? Different personas for different tasks. The shape manipulation tool placement is very good (in draw persona and I really like the smooth gradients. What do you dislike? The pencil tool's accuracy could be better. Recommendations to others considering the product File format compatibility is still limited and vector precision could be better, other than these it's a great and affordable design software. What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...

New To the Program Affinity Designer

What do you like best? Unlike Adobe programs, you don't have to commit to a monthly or yearly subscription. There are some similarities to Adobes layout and workspace so it won't be impossible to learn and use. It is good for casual designing and budget friendly. What do you dislike? I am so used to using Adobe that It took me a while to get use to the interface. As of now, I can't see this program replacing Adobes suite as the industry standard, but if you work from home as a ...

Versatile easy to use design software

What do you like best? The Affinity designer allows you to create beautiful designs with little hassle. I love the user friendly icons that are easy to navigate and give you the opportunity to focus on actual creating. The formats are versatile and there are many outlets you can create from. What do you dislike? When I am zooming in and out of certain images it takes a bit to come into focus. You have to be patient with it to get settled down before moving to the next step. ...

Great

What do you like best? Great alternative to Photoshop and Illustrator. Add the raster to vector is very great and the interface is really easy and intuitive. It does not take much to learn, especially for those who already use other softwares, and even the keyboard shortcuts are immediate. The software is very fast and it has never crashed like other softwares. In addition, it has many ways to export the files for compatibility. What do you dislike? Illustrator and Sketch Had a Lovechild Named Affinity Designer

What do you like best? This is one of the simplest vector art platforms I have used in a long time. It has become my go-to for creating artboards of vector graphics, logos, and website layouts. The simplicity and quick responsive actions are amazing with this application. What do you dislike? Certain fonts get mangled on the missing font mapper when you open a document that has fonts missing from the system. Recommendations to others considering the product It will not entirely replace ...

What do you like best? When you compare it with the mammoth that is Adobe Illustrator, Affinity Designer is lightning fast, light and with a learning curve much friendlier. What do you dislike? It is still a new application and some needed features are still missing, but the team is hard at work and constantly improving it. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? With an affordable price and an easy learning curve this is the app that any ...

Illustrator killer

What do you like best? For years now I’ve been using other tools and lately I’ve been feeling the need to find a new one that simply works. Affinity Designer caught my eye since their beta version and luckily my expectations were met, even though it’s still only version 1. Affinity Designer is a great app, robust, reliable and above all user-friendly, making the re-learning almost instantaneous, be it for web designers like me, graphic designers or illustrators. I highly recommend Affinity ...

Designed for awesome

What do you like best? The way affinity Designer uses both raster and vector formats makes this product a good contender for a Photoshop replacemnt. The price point is way more than fair, and a lot of the features are super cool. What do you dislike? The User Interface is not familiar, and it isn't too clear what a lot of the icons mean. It took me a good couple hours to navigate around so I could actually start using the product. Recommendations to others considering the product The ...

What do you like best? It's clean, designed for mac which is good What do you dislike? It's missing some feature used from photoshop/illustrator and checked against Sketch, i would prefer sketch. Recommendations to others considering the product Make sure you check it out first, before buying. I bought it, and after a while came to the conclussion Sketch was more my thing.
