Adobe Killer
What do you like best? Software that's as powerful as Photoshop and Illustrator combined, at a minute fraction of the price and with a high level of compatibility. It's a wonder that this hasn't already killed Photoshop and Illustrator. What do you dislike? When exporting to Adobe formats, there can be some discrepancies with the exported file. Recommendations to others considering the product You want the power of Photoshop and Illustrator, without the ridiculous cost of Adobe, without ...

Such an awesome tool for such an affordable price!
What do you like best? I love that this tool has all the features of bigger and way more expensive options. I work in web design and I'm never let down whenever I need to work out a new graphic or edit something sent in by a client. What do you dislike? I honestly couldn't say that I dislike anything. I read that in a big design office it might be better to have the group management tools in Adobe suites and such, but as a freelancer, I do not need any of that overhead. Recommendations ...

Slick easy to use interface with intuitive controls
What do you like best? I like the clear separation of vector and raster workflow within Affinity. Also the export tools work very well. Affinity has lots of great powerful features like reusable symbols that update everywhere when you edit one. And just the general workflow is smoother than Photoshop in my opinion. I also appreciate that Affinity is not subscription software. I don't use it every week or even every month, so having a subscription based software just makes no sense. What ...

What do you like best? Affinity Designer is a perfect platform for vector creation, a £50 one off price a lifetime of updates this is very close to being a 100% viable alternative to Illustrator in fact a number of studios have already moved from Adobe to Affinity, I think that once the eagerly awaited ipad version is released then I may even make the switch myself What do you dislike? having to wait for the ipad app is the only thing thats holding it back from perfection Recommendations ...

Makes illustrator obsolete
What do you like best? The tool set and curve editor blows illustrator away. No more adobe subscriptions. Amazing price/value What do you dislike? The implementation with Wacom is not the best. Menus could be more intuitive. Wish the license worked on plane Mac without having to buy two licences What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Are able to get rid of the expense of a illustrator subscription. Creating scaleable vector ...

Fantastic program!
What do you like best? I love that I can have most of the tools that Adobe InDesign and Illustrator give you, built into one easy to use program. If you have learned on the Adobe CC, you will easily pick up on Affinity Designer! Another great perk is that it is a one time fee vs. month to month. What do you dislike? It could be a little more powerful. I sometimes feel limited by its ability to illustrate. Recommendations to others considering the product Get it!!! What business problems ...

Excellent!!! Love this software
What do you like best? Easy to use. Outstanding pricing for what you get and no stupid Adobe-like overpriced subscription fees. Ongoing, free upgrades. Great online community support for finding answers. Free bonus packs along the way. Can't say enough about Affinity software. They did it right. What do you dislike? Would like to see more options for customization. Clicking and selecting gets a bit tedious for my habits. Wold like option to turn off non-destructive cropping in order to ...

Essential for the freelancer
What do you like best? The main reason that I use Affinity designer is the pricing tag. It is better than Adobe Illustrator in this regard, and slightly faster in other particular aspects, for example, batch exporting is beautifully made. What do you dislike? A reason to dislike Affinity might also be in its lack of features compared to Illustrator, but these features are so obscure and small that only a few portion of their possible customers would reject Affinity Designer. ...

Great and full software for vector design
What do you like best? I came over from Pixelmator, and this is pretty good for most vector design needs What do you dislike? I wish I could make animations in it, but I can’t. Also some importing and exporting formats cause problems, especially in Apple Motion What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I don’t really solve problems, just create things
