I can also check on my direct reports, and see that they are correctly entering in their time off requests, hours (hourly employees) and check the status of their available dates for sick/vaca.

ADP Payroll is convenient for the current day and age because it is available as both a web site and a phone application. Most of the employees were able to download the ADP application onto their phones in order to clock in and out.
