Workfront has Grown to be more Robust

Workfront has done a lot of growing in the past year or two. The system is much more robust than their earlier versions known as AtTask. Workfront has a great educational team. The Community has been extremely helpful for customers to connect, make recommendations for system enhancements and find Regional User Groups.

Reporting Capabilities are not robust …

Reporting Capabilities are not robust enough to cross multiple database tables. System would benefit from 3rd level projects.

I believe Workfront has a lot more room to grow and meet customer needs better. Its a great tool, but very limited in its open and flexible to complicate user platform, resulting in users opting to use simpler tools such as exporting to Excel or other user friendly tools. I've heard from our users that Workfront takes a lot of time from their work. With incomplete data this becomes a challange, when reporting to executives using the tool. Does most of what we want, and is constantly adding features that are useful. Looking forward to more resource planning capabilities.

I think overall Workfront is the best tool for project management on the market. It does need some improvement in areas like resource management but I'm confident that these issues are being worked on and addressed. Customer service and support is great.

Focus on core features

Focus seems to be more around pretty features than core capabilities. The promised ability to have group-specific statuses was poorly implemented, to the point that most customers cannot use it. The ability to recover projects, tasks and issues is welcome, but limiting its use to administrators fails to address the requirement. Likewise, not being able to recover documents is a significant miss. The inability to collaborate across Workfront environments is probably the most frustrating.

Workfront solution was the only solution for our business purposes. Never short on help whether tapping into the Global Community or using Workfront Help. Product interface is easy and friendly. A++

Great System!

We have been live in Workfront for 5 months now and absolutely love it! IT has really streamlined our process, and allowed us to take on more work. Of course, there are a few implementation pains. It is extremely robust compared to our last system so getting everyone used to it has been difficult. Overall it is a great system and I am excited to see what else we can do with it overtime.

WorkFront is a great tool for an organization to be able to really get themselves organized, forecasting future work, reporting, and overall communication. My only downfall is that sometimes there are TOO many ways of doing different tasks within the tool and can be very overwhelming to a new user/team. It would be helpful to have "best practices" to show what the most common way of using the tool is and so forth.
