Good product but very buggy

Workfront is a good product but there are LOTS of bugs. Most of the time we have to wait on bugs to be resolved because WF is trying to figure out what the code is supposed to actually do and we end up having to explain it to them. This is VERY frustrating. We've been with WF for about 5 years and know it better than a lot of WF employees. It's also incredibly frustrating when WF rolls out aesthetic things like a new font or updated icons and that takes precedence over making sure that ...

Completely worthless

I can't believe how worthless workfront is. I hate it so much. It is absolutely the worst time tracking and project management software I have ever used and I used a lot. Expansive, slow, no mobile I can go on and on. Stay AWAY

Agile is underdone

We moved from waterfall to Agile and really tried hard to make WF Agile work but alas JIRA won out. It had a far more mature agile offering.

User friendliness

Overall, good for requesting items and artwork approval. Not very user friendly in design and appealing to the eye. The tasks and assignments to specific people are not available and would like a work flow template to be able to be used and alerts sent to people once one person finished or checks off task, rather than having to comment name.

Too slow! Not for an IT Shop

Honestly I have high hopes for WorkFront. I really want them to be successful. But they need to seriously consider what each market segment really needs. For an IT shop, this turned out to be the worst web application; ever! I think the title explains it all. The web application is extremely slow. Creating and navigating through a ticket was extremely slow. Never was able to get the reports that an IT shop needs. Even though support has slightly improved over the years, there is still much ...

bad paradigm + bad implementation = kills productivity

paradigm: waterfall. incapable of representing or managing uncertainty. gives no one any insight into my work. implementation: awkward, slow, buggy, frustrating. data entry that should be trivial is incredibly difficult. never ever refresh a report during a meeting unless you need a 10 minute intermission. Excel would be far superior.

Avoid it

I avoid using Workfront if possible. Its user interface is terrible. It's nearly impossible to figure out what screen and what selection to make to enter the simplest things, and it takes twenty clicks when one would do.

Overly micromanaged for processes that are unnecessary.

Far more detail than necessary. So much time has to be devoted to red tape versus actual work. What was a good idea has gone wrong with the huge amount of tasks associated to working
