"A Necessary Lawful Evil"
What do you like best about Adobe InDesign? InDesign is the leader in publishing software for a reason — no one else offers such a well-packaged product to create print or digital publications. "The industry standard now"
What do you like best about Adobe InDesign? This software is the standard in the industry. With Indesign CC you now get updates free so you're always up to date. It perfectly integrates with Photoshop and Illustrator. At one point in time QuarkXpress was the king of design software but poor customer service and poor updates made it obsolete. Many in the industry switched because of this.

"Couldn't imagine using anything else for print layout"
What do you like best about Adobe InDesign? I love that InDesign is a layout specific tool. I also like how the software updates automatically. The seamless integration with Adobe Fonts is nice too. If I am missing a font I just sync the font from Adobe Fonts. "Edit in" is a great feature as well. We work with lots of pictures in our publication and having the ability to select it in InDesign and edit it in photoshop is a major plus that we benefit from greatly.

What do you like best about Adobe InDesign? Adobe indesign is the absolute best way to create layouts. I use this for almost every project; it has so many features to create cool shapes, lines, etc. InDesign is also good for creating various graphics, charts, and posters. It has a lot of fonts, and you can also download other fonts and features online to apply to indesign.
