Not terrible
What do you like best? Robustness. It can do a lot if you know how to manipulate the product or where to find information that is clear/concise. What do you dislike? Lack of intuitiveness. Steep learning curve. There are loads of tools to make it easier, but it’s still complex, and many tools you have to understand what they do or they aren’t all that helpful. Recommendations to others considering the product: One of the biggest issues with many online courses is that the course ...

Overpromised, Underdelivered
What do you like best? We use Captivate Prime for training with a large organization with many sites, it is helpful for supplying a cloud centralized location for training. What do you dislike? I'm not sure where exactly to start. We had two fantastic demonstrations with Hitesh, he was able to portray Prime as the perfect solution, having everything that we need and requested. Can we add youtube videos directly to a course? Yes. Not actually, we need to use a separate expensive ...

Lots of awesome features, more complicated than other systems
What do you like best? There are so many different things you can do with this; like with all Adobe systems, the functionality is vast, allowing you to take your training to new heights. What do you dislike? It is difficult to get familiar with and get started using/switch over to because of the depth of the features. Recommendations to others considering the product: I think this software will be great for your eLearning needs, just make sure you have the time to sit down and ...

Adobe Captivate Prime LMS
What do you like best? Low cost high powered LMS solution. Audit trail included. What do you dislike? Difficult to capture external training. Individuals with multiple roles find it cumbersome to deal with the navigation required build and deploy a course or curriculum. Too many clicks to get things done. End users had to train more than usual to understand how to navigate the system. Recommendations to others considering the product: Consider the complexity of the system if ...

LMS - Making things EASY
What do you like best? The ability to easily track, review and administer tests to staff via LMS, cost effective. Intergrates well with Microsoft Office programs, retrained many staff members in a very short time. We also use this for monthly, quartlery and yearly mandatory trainings. What do you dislike? Some issues using the app from phones and non desktop sources, at times issues with reporting, showing complete to the user, and not complete to the admin/manager for a short period ...

Check it out
What do you like best? Captivate, while not our ultimate choice for an LMS is a really good option to take a look at. The learning features allow for great creation and flexibility of content. What do you dislike? There's not anything I specifically dislike -- the program lives in the adobe cloud which is helpful, I think more integration with other apps like Google would be helpful. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Problems we are ...

Best LMS I've tried
What do you like best? Last year we were in the process of picking an LMS for our company and I got to do a few trials. Coming from a big company like Adobe, Captivate Prime was the most user-friendly out of all the LMSs I tried, and likely one of the most flexible. What do you dislike? We were on a tight budget, and while most LMS include at least the capability to create simple multiple-choice evaluations, Captivate Prime wouldnt even include this, as they have a separate tool just ...

Excellent Product!
What do you like best? We found it to be very easy to use. The team thought it was a bit pricey. What do you dislike? Price was a concern but we like the value given. The focus should be placed on value versus price Recommendations to others considering the product: Great LMS! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Providing LMS for those looking to offer online courses

Adobe Captivate Prime Works
What do you like best? The best part is the ability to create content within the LMS system and not have to create everything outside of the system. What do you dislike? The limitations of reporting and administration to use the software with an organization that has multiple departments and team leads. The costs of the software is a bit higher than others that we have looked at and we can not afford to keep this software with the amount of users we have. Recommendations to others ...
