Good but could be better.

What do you like best? Editing capabilities. Different types of styles and formats you can use to create a well-rounded LMS. You could do an interactive walk-through module with a quiz, or a combination of other options. It's great! What do you dislike? Platform could be a little more user-friendly. Make the platform more intuitive so that people rely less on training videos to learn how to use your platform. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Excellent Product for LMS Admins

What do you like best? The best thing about Captivate Prime is how well it works with Captivate. I use this for all of my e-learning modules. I love that Adobe products are easy to navigate and that the UI is very similar among all the products. It makes life easier when you are using many Adobe products to produce your content. What do you dislike? The o my real downside to using Captivate Prime was that we had to move things over and “learn” a new LMS. Once we got in and started ...

Captivate is Captivating!

What do you like best? I like how easy it is to use. You can simply drop a PowerPoint into it and work right off of it to make it into a video. This is the primary reason I use this software. What do you dislike? It is probably just a user error on my part but if i need to make a change to a part of my PowerPoint presentation I have to change the single slide, delete it and re import it. I am sure there is a way to make the change on the PowerPoint itself for it to update in ...

Very good LMS for most corporate training needs

What do you like best? Extremely user friendly interface that felt professional and clean. I like both the admin UI and the student / learner experience. Also wide support for pretty much any type of learning we wanted to throw at it. What do you dislike? One of our main requirements was external / customer training with eCommerce functionality. This is something that wasn't available with Captivate Prime. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Mostly good

What do you like best? The platforms ability to organize and use various mediums of content. I do appreciate the overall design and features as far as it works for a Learner: as in course access, learning plans, automatic enrolment and search functions. I have previously used captivate prime to schedule in person seminars with pre-requisites and sign-ins which I thought was nice. We have also created multiple courses that were video training clips and captivate prime worked well as a tool ...

Very slick and mature LMS, but not for newbies

What do you like best? Captivate Prime LMS is a very mature and well sourced LMS. It comes with the backing of Adobe which its Creative Cloud products are legendary. It's not that difficult to learn and has a wealth of features like offline access and learner tracking. What do you dislike? This LMS is a little pricer than others, but then again, it's Adobe and you get top-notch support. It's also a bit inflexible in allowing customizing organizational structure and access rights. It ...
