It's not hard to use, but it just takes a lot of time to learn EVERYTHING that it can do. I mainly use it for making really cool 3D titles for the weddings that I work on. What do you like best about Adobe After Effects? I love that you can pretty much import anything to use as assets. The UI is familiar to any Adobe user. Can export in almost any format. Ability to sync with Photoshop or Illustrator helps immensely when changes are needed to source files. Use of expressions can be very helpful. Having access to particles is great.
