What do you like best about Adobe After Effects? It's very easy to start from scratch and be up-and-running with decent animation in no time. Once you get your head around how it structures things, results come fairly quickly. If you use Photoshop or Illustrator you're halfway there, but have to consider Time as another layer to the visual ones you're used to. So with preparation it's pretty quick to animate something.

I was given a copy by an instructor for a project over winter break so that I could work from home before our projects were due in the spring. I didn't come out of my room for days because I was enthralled with what could be created in the software. There are few limits to what can be done inside of after effects.
