"Great for Visual Effects"

What do you like best about Adobe After Effects? After Effects is my favorite program for visual effects. I think it is far better than anything else on the market and is definitely the industry standard. It is great that so many third-parties like Video Copilot and Red Giant are releasing great plugins for After Effects, that makes the platform even stronger. Overall it is a great program, and as part of Adobe's Creative Cloud, it is a great deal.

What do you like best about Adobe After Effects? Allows users to animate, alter and composite media in 2D and 3D space with various built-in tools and third party plug-ins, and is used in the post-production process of filmmaking and television production.

What do you like best about Adobe After Effects? Very slick interface (though it takes a while to load at times), HUGE user base with tons of free content and tutorials out there, awesome tool all around.

"I'm no expert by any means, but using this for kinetic typography videos is amazing."

What do you like best about Adobe After Effects? I use this for animating type that is synced up to audio and it works fantastic. Also, there are so many cool addons available out there. Andrew Kramer over at videocopilot.net for example is a must as far as addons and plugins go.
