What do you like best about Adobe After Effects? After Effects is a video editing program that is comparable to what professional film makers use. Though the layout and interface is quite confusing if you have no experience with similar software, the editing possibilities are endless. There are many tweaks that you can invoke in After Effects that other programs won't allow. For instance, the program is able to add "glitch" effects and more. All in all, it's a very powerful tool.

What do you like best about Adobe After Effects? I love the integration with other Adobe Software. I can create an asset in Illustrator, animate it in After Effects, go back to the original Illustrator file and make changes and it automatically updates within my animation. I also love how deep the program is, so there's always something new to learn.

There are a lot of plugins that allows you to do a lot of effects with just few clicks. You will become familiar with Trapcode suite, Plexus, Element 3D if you are interested in learning After Effect.
