Small business. 28 year user of Maximizer and 6 year user of ACT (my current life preserver).
What do you like best? We can all deal with a multitude of issues but not at exactly the same time. ACT keeps everything teed up for action at a time when that action is actually "timely". Gets the Job Done, A Little Outdated
What do you like best? The software definitely has a lot of uses when it comes to organizing a client base. Everything from grouping, to attaching documents to your contacts, to setting appointments. It can even be integrated with a few other software platforms such as Mitel. What do you dislike? ACT!'s interface is fairly outdated. It's reminiscent of 90's era databases. Very happy long time user
What do you like best? I've been using ACT since 1996. I like its easy customability, ie. I can add fields easily and I can change my template quickly whenever I need to start recording a new attribute for our database. The new email integration is great. Finally, I can quickly determine who is opening my emails and clicking on any hyperlinks I provide in my eblasts. What do you dislike? I wish that our ACT! could integrate with our Quickbooks Online. Act! serves the purpose for our needs.
What do you like best? Contact management - tracking sales and marketing activities. What do you dislike? My Act! database doesn't always sync with outlook so I find myself having to manually add-in emails which is laborious and cumbersome. Recommendations to others considering the product: One of the simplest CRM databases that I have ever used. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ACT! Provides Everything I need to stay connected to customers and track sales.
What do you like best? ACT! allows me to create templates for frequent activities and then merge my contacts using Word or Outlook. This is a huge time saver precluding me from having to retype or cut and paste. The opportunities allow me to track sales and insight in the sales process. What do you dislike? Not having ACT! Great program for a Membership Database
What do you like best? The ease of setting up the database and the ability to query for needed information. What do you dislike? Act is nice, the the company is not
What do you like best? Act is a mandatory program for my area of work. The issue I have with act is just a few years ago I bought the program on a cd rom for everyone in my company. Just four years later the cd rom version no longer works and they now require a monthly charge for the program. The cd rom version no longer works and to me thats a scam. The startup was smooth
What do you like best? I've worked with ACT and other CRM's for different employers over the last 20 years and I still like the format ACT offers. It's intuitive and not challenging to understand on a simple level. This is a new subscription with a new company but I did try some of the suggested CRM's and either the cost was high and/or the learning curve was high.
