Great CRM for small business
What do you like best? The thing I like most about Act! by Sage is its user interface and its ease of use. I started using Act! at the first company I worked for. The majority of the sales team used Microsoft Access but since my job was business development I wanted something seperate for my own use so that I could monitor myself. After I started usaing it for a little bit I was asked to set up the software for the whole sales team. What do you dislike? At the time I started using ...

OK for small, simple implementations where you want many features
What do you like best? It is a feature rich product with a long history of successful implementations across many industries. I do think that it is better suited to the SME, and has a low cost of entry too. What do you dislike? It is a bit clunky and the user interface perhaps doesn't look as fresh as many of the cloud solutions these days do. Recommendations to others considering the product If you have a low number of users and want simple functionality (but lots of it then it may ...

Your old style CRM which hasn't moved on with the times.
What do you like best? Price can be competitive and for a very basic CRM its ok. What do you dislike? Its old, its clunky and hard to integrate with, even hard to integrate with other Sage applications and services! There are better CRMs out there. Recommendations to others considering the product Make sure you really evaluate other solutions before choosing Sage ACT! I used it many years ago and now all I see is people wanting to move away from it. But also take a look at their new ...

Good Starter CRM
What do you like best? Sage is a solid starter CRM that allows you to many of the basic things you would want in CRM tool. It's a desktop offering, however, with limited integration to web services. It's pretty solid on Windows, I'm not sure on Mac. The tool is also simple enough that an in-house team could set it up if necessary. What do you dislike? It's not a SasS offering, and has limited integration capabilities beyond Outlook and a few other services. I would not recommend this ...

Not Bad for Small Business
What do you like best? I suport a friends' business on ACT and it's not a bad tool for a 2 man shop. Extremely basic CRM capabilities. Good for contact management. What do you dislike? Not SaaS based and my friend would like to have a mobile option now. Also have issues with system backups and restore but I think it's a user issue. Recommendations to others considering the product For alow cost, contact managment software package, it's not bad and worth a look, but honesly, you can ...

Small CRM package for small business
What do you like best? ACT has always been a very good CRM tool. Its later versions offer more and more features to allow automated email generation etc. Lower prices that some CRM tools. A great starter tool for a small business who do not want to go down the route of SAAS salesforce.com What do you dislike? No easy migration to bigger tools however fits purpose for small CRM Recommendations to others considering the product Look at a SAAS offering

Good database for small businesses
What do you like best? Robust features for the small business person. Can tie opportunities to companies, as well as easy to create reports. Nice tool for sales people to create call lists. What do you dislike? Hard to describe but often felt clumsy trying to navigate around. Sometimes it took too many manual steps to do something. Trouble scaling if business is fast growing. Recommendations to others considering the product A very good software tool for a small business but be sure ...
