Organise you contacts
What do you like best? Keeps my contact history and contact details all together, can set alarms for upcoming meetings, birthdays and other dates to remember. Group people together under the company they work for so you can see company notes on all contacts. Act is the first place I look for info on my customers, I keep everything connected to the client recorded in Act. What do you dislike? Not always that easy to get the details to sync with Outlook and mobile, but can be done. ...

ACT- It's a bit glitchy
What do you like best? I like the ability to create specific lists of your contacts based on certain criteria. We have over 50,000 contacts and pulling up a list of people that meet very specific criteria is very efficient. What do you dislike? I don't like that it isn't very easy to customize on our own, and that we have to hire a 3rd party. Also, it tends to be glitchy. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We love the alarms, ...

Easy to use, super effective for work
What do you like best? When I talk to my clients and look them up in the database it's easier to talk to them about what the situation is with them and it also assures them that we are taking care of them with notes. What do you dislike? It can be a little slow due to all the storage What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Have an easier tie keeping track of clients and their information in case the hard copy is ever lost. Less ...

Act! is easy to use and reasonably priced
What do you like best? I find Act's! user interface very intuitive and easy to navigate. It does what I need it to do. What do you dislike? I'd like to see more fields use auto-fill, and the reporting capabilities could be more robust. Recommendations to others considering the product Investigate other CRMs that are similarly priced to see if the features and benefits are what you're looking for. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

ACT! has been a reliable, ever expanding contact management resource ove the last 25 plus years.
What do you like best? The program is responsive and the ACT team's responsiveness and help is an additional key benefit! What do you dislike? I am truly not fond of taking surveys or giving endorsements. Since ACT has be an integral part of my success in business over the last 25+ years, this is one of the few surveys I have willingly responded to in the last five years. ACT may be a key part of your toolbox in the future if you give it a try! Recommendations to others considering ...

I live in ACT!
What do you like best? Act integrates my calendar and my contacts, creates a diary of interactions with each contact, and allows me to plan my future interactions. All of my business activity exists in Act. What do you dislike? Some CRM's automatically fill in data, based on company website. Act doesn't do that. Not my version anyway. Recommendations to others considering the product Try it. It's easy to get started. What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Out of Date
What do you like best? The trickle down system from Companies to Contacts What do you dislike? The interface. With the world of smartphones- ACT feels like I am looking at a computer program from 2000 What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It is nice to print "activities reports" instead of sending my director word typed summaries.

Effective System
What do you like best? Despite its antiquated look and more effective cousin programs, ACT is actually a very good way of organizing information. It allows multiple contacts to be stored under one company, and provides clear and concise “at a glance” contact information and titles for each person. There are multiple ways to sort your query, whether it be by company, contact information, name, or more. It’s user friendly, and while it may not look like the fanciest system, it gets the job ...
