Acronis and Arsenal FC Yuk

The only reason I give this a one is because I can't give a zero. The reason they get one star is because of their association with Arsenal FC whose senior management team are absolute disgusting

Product failed

I've been using Acronis True Image software for a number of years. Recently, the automatic backup functions stopped working. Online chat supports best idea was to buy a newer version. Priority: sell more products, whether the products already sold works or not is not important.

Probably the worst designed software I have ever seen.

One reviewer said True Image was easy to use. But there's a word for that, and it is preceded by the words "the dog's . . . ". It may be good at backing up, if you've got three days to try and work it out. If the Acronis team had designed a car, they would have put the Left indicator switch on the roof lining but the Right indicator switch under the seat, the headlight switch on the coaming but the side light switch on the pasenger door. The brake pedal would be on the floor, but the clutch ...

Software is TERRIBLE but Support even worse.

I've been bitten by both True Image and Disk Director. When I needed to restore, all 3 of my True Image drives had "corrupted" restore files and I could not restore. Went to Macrium with success.Recently, I attempted some routine disk maintenance on an external drive. Disk Director 12 exited Windows 10 Pro, as usual, to enter Windows PE to accomplish the task. When it re-booted into Windows 10, ChkDsk intervened to scan(!?) and found many errors in my C: drive that needed to be repaired. ...

BE CAREFUL! Honestly

I never write reviews - but this time it is very important I do. I encountered three major problems with Acronis:1. Adapter compatibility issues2. Virus-like behaviour3. Unable to uninstall softwareFirstly, this software failed to recognize my new SSD. Windows detected it, Acronis didn’t. Help from them was useless, since they told me my adapter was faulty (spoiler: It wasn’t). They also told me to restart my computer (again), which is when I noticed issues. My PC was booting much slower ...

Terrible Software, do not buy.

Terrible Software. I bought Acronis True Image 2021 on the advice of a Tech friend. Installed ok, but what a nightmare to use. Awful interface, poor instructions and so slow. It took hours to perform the first backup and the computer slowed so much that I could do nothing else. It even stopped displaying any progress. I had to reboot the computer. Then two hours later it announces that my backup is complete. I couldn't dismount the drive I had backed up to and had to shut down the computer ...

Not a good experience first time tryer…

Not a good experience first time tryer as looking to buy external hard drive. This software now recommended by Western Digital. I cant understand why. Runs 32 bit; runs poorly crashing and consuming pc resources in the process. Cannot even run task manager on Win10 to kill it. Stay well clear in my opinion.

The worst support service I've come…

The worst support service I've come across in over 20 years. I haven't had a backup for 2 weeks and the team doesn't answer emails or answer anything other than questions. Until I upgraded to True Image 2017 to version 2020, I didn't need support.

I have used Acronis for 2 years.

I have used Acronis for 2 years.Since using 2021 True Image backups failed. Support non existent. Cannot get any resolution. Expensive backup solution with no technical support is a waste of money
