1Password Reviews in October 2026: User Ratings, Pros & Cons

Fantastic for security conscious people.

What do you like best? The simplicity of 1Password is fantastic. It allows me to create and manage passwords for various places without breaking a sweat. The vault, combined with the browser extensions and iOS app combines perfectly. It saves me having to worry about insecure passwords, or remembering complex ones. I also love the way it audits your passwords, logins etc., to let you know if they have been found in any security compromises. The UI/UX, especially on Apple based hardware, is ...

The Gold Standard for Password Management

What do you like best? I've used 1Password since before it was a subscription product. I don't mind paying for it monthly now, as it has remained updated, secure, accessible, and easy to use all this time. The ability to store information other than passwords is useful, as well as the secure browser and ability to paste username/password info into both 1Password's secure browser and other supported browsers. Great all-around program and worth the small monthly fee, What do you dislike? ...

Excellent Password Organization System!

What do you like best? I like that I only have to remember one password and the software remembers all of my other passwords. Worth every penny! It even will create passwords for me, so I don't have to. What do you dislike? I wish the price was a little cheaper, but it is the price you pay for convenience. Recommendations to others considering the product: Great for easily remembering passwords for all of your needs. What problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Adequate But Has Quirks

What do you like best? It is a work horse solution that has been around for years and has proven to be effective enough to get by with managing website passwords. What do you dislike? On occasion the helper application will not start. It has had upgrade issues where it has taken several attempts to successfully upgrade the software. Sometimes it is unable to save account info like email address when saving login info for a site. There is no easy way to manually add sites. ...

A kickass password management tool

What do you like best? One of the best tools that focusses on true User Experience and delight. Case in point here, is the integration of 1Password in the iOS keyboards. It is such a delight to fill the passwords or OTPs with this integration, when earlier it was such a pain point. A true example of how software can solve real world problems and give super power for mortals when you are surrounded by phishing sharks and hacking whales. What do you dislike? To be honest, I don't like their ...

Best password app out there

What do you like best? Simple to use. Highly secure. Easy to make new passwords. iOS app is simple to use. Macbook app is easy to use. Chrome attachment is easy to use. I can't say enough good things about this app. What do you dislike? The only thing I think they could do better is more easily go from a mobile browser to using the password. Recommendations to others considering the product: There's no one else that has such a simple user interface, great pricing, works on iOS, ...
