Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Before shortlisting 1Password, verify that the Mac app occasionally experiences responsiveness delays—check this directly in your demo on the devices your team uses most. MacOS Client and iOS app never disappoint
What do you like best? I love that 1Password is easy enough to use that it's easy to get program compliance. What do you dislike? I've never really been fond of the Chrome Extension, however, and generally find myself opening the Mac program rather than opening the Chrome extension when I need to look up or save a new login. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you're going to be writing any notes in programming code, remember to turn off the styling that ...

Password manager always available with you
What do you like best? 1Password is a program in which I store login data on Windows/MacOS systems. The software is a password manager, and a device that also controls access to the machine. Both logins used for software as well as for the Web will be kept online. In fact, the device is fitted with an embedded generator, automatically creating passwords for websites, e-mail boxes etc. The approach is very simple, because a person just has to remember the password for 1Password. Your info ...

Great password management product, windows client is getting better with every release
What do you like best? Apple OSX client is simply amazing! This fast client, with easy access, slick looking interface and keyboard shortcuts make this a no-brainer choice for password management on the mac, and elsewhere. I moved to this after using KeePass and LastPass for a few years, and I did not look back once. What do you dislike? The pricing of team licenses is a little bit high, but trial is unlimited (just nag with popups on the desktop client) Recommendations to others ...

You need a password manager, and this one is great
What do you like best? I love the ease of integration and usage in all my browsers and devices. What do you dislike? The age rating of 17+ in the iOS app store stops younger members of my family from getting the full benefit of the plan. Recommendations to others considering the product: You need a password manager. This one is excellent. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? All my logins on various different websites have their ...

Managing passwords for over 200 sites.

perfect password security – multi-platform and family-friendly
What do you like best? best usability, non intrusive, friendly – for experts and not-so-experts alike. A viable, secure multi-platform solution! What do you dislike? no flaws – anything a could think of would be like: sometimes it was not clear if I had the newest version of plugin on all my browsers, so I may have reinstalled/updated without need, to be on the safe side. Recommendations to others considering the product: Interesting plans: The Business Plan is ideal for ...

Consistent and very helpful Customer Service!
What do you like best? Consistent, intuitive, great customer service! What do you dislike? Updates....I seldom have time to read the updates and learn what is new and different! Recommendations to others considering the product: I've used 1Password for several years and love it! Have it on all my devices. I added a iMac and set it all up myself. I was frustrated that I was missing something, as not all my devices were synched with the new computer. I wrote in to customer ...

1Password is the most convenient password manager I have used. Powerful and easy to use.
What do you like best? + 1Password's global shortcut (⌘ on Mac) + Two-factor authentication (2FA) support + Multiple (shared) vaults to organise + Dedicated entries for wifi credentials and credit cards + Highly unobtrusive (in contrast to password managers that put icons on your login forms in webpages) + Subdomain matching makes sure there is as little bloat as possible when searching through many logins for a page + Clear indication of weak or reused passwords What do you ...

One of the most important apps I own, and worth every penny
What do you like best? 1Password is the reigning king of all password management programs. I've been using it for about 12 years, I think, and I've never once regretted it. It makes it brain-dead easy to be ridiculously secure. (And I've heard many security researchers use it and recommend it. These are the people that know.) It not only helps you make excellent, nigh-uncrackable passwords for all your new accounts, but it makes sure you realize which of your existing passwords is too ...

Continues to be the best balance between security and ease-of-use.
What do you like best? I've been using 1Password for over 10 years and it has always been quick to adopt new features and capabilities of OSes and devices. As a Mac and iOS user primarily, their apps are top-notch. They also have always been transparent and well-informed regarding their security methodologies. Even as they continue to evolve, they've been very forthcoming with previous shortcomings. It's this honesty and quality that engenders trust from their user base. What do you ...
