Crash Recovery and Software Authorization
I recently had my laptop crash, and was reinstalling all my software. It was no problem recovering my vault from my backup, but I needed to provide authorization token to verify that I had purchased the software. Initially, the CS rep suggested that he would not be able to help me, because I was one version behind the latest version. When I expressed displeasure with that, another representative reached out and provided what I needed.

Straying customer brought back by excellent customer service
I've used 1Password since 2012. I had a licence for a standalone version of the app and thought that was the only way of having 1Password, but learned recently there's a subscription version. I don't like subscriptions; I'd rather own an app than rent it; I turn away from subscription apps because I wouldn't get as much use out of them to be worth a monthly fee.
